Vanessa Spence

Vanessa Spence was born in 1961 in Kingston. Jamaica. She was named after her great aunt, Vanessa Bell, of Bloomsbury Group fame. She grew up in Jamaica and was later educated at Marlborough College in England and at the Universities of Oxford and Yale. She has lived in Sierra Leone, Pakistan and India. As an economist, she has worked in privatization and development banking. She lives in the Blue Mountains.
